Alkaline phosphatase

Alkaline phosphatase

Product description:

English name: CIP; CLAP; Phosphatase, Alkaline from calf intestine

Other names: alkaline phosphatase
CAS number: 9001-78-9
Level: Conjugation grade
Source: small bovine enterokinase
Activity Specific activity: ~4500u/mg
Traits: suspension, Ammonium sulfate suspension. Soluble in water and dilute buffers. Alkaline phosphatase catalyzes removing DNA, RNA, ribose, triphosphate nucleotide triphosphate deoxyribonucleoside 5 ' phosphate group. Because CIP of missing DNA fragment ligases required 5 ' phosphate ends, so they cannot connect (1). This feature can reduce the carrier when you clone DNA background
Use: biochemical studies. Removal of DNA, RNA, rNTPs dNTPs and the 5 '-end of the phosphate group; Cyclic connections to prevent cloning vectors; Protein-serine, threonine, and tyrosine residues phosphorylation
Storage:-20 ℃
