Pre-stress tendon grouting in FIP Construction Manual (1990) points that mental pipe doesn't have permanent anticorrosive ability, and can't resist the water leakage and reach the cement and pre-stress tendon. However, SBG (B) plastic corrugated pipe can provide a protective shield for the pre-stress tendon far superior to the mental corrugated pipe, which can prevent the harmful material's pollution of penetrating pipes, and ensures that the post-tensioned member structure has better endurance; Meanwhile, the friction coefficient of preserved pore path of SBG (B) plastic corrugated pipe is obviously smaller than that of mental corrugated pipe and reduces the pre-stressing friction loss during the stretch. Generally, the friction coefficient of plastic corrugated pipe is 0.14, while the friction coefficient of mental corrugated pipe is 0.25; with high strength SBG (B) plastic corrugated pipe can stand jamming on, not easy to be broken by vibrator chipping; its sealing performance and anti-leakage performance surpass the mental corrugated pipe, more suitable for vacuum grouting.
