Cinnamic acid amide used in organic synthesis intermediates.

Preparation
The cinnamic acid by chlorination, amidation obtained using lauric acid and thionyl chloride reaction at 60-70 ℃ 3-4h, too crude, the crude vacuum distillation was cinnamon chloride. Cinnamylchloride then slowly add concentrated aqueous ammonia to below 30 ℃, the reaction was stirred at below 30 ℃ 1h. place 24h, poured into a large amount of distilled water, centrifuged dry, washed with dilute ethanol derived recrystallization finished.
