There are four types of classifiers, namely high weir type single and double spiral classifier, immersed single and double spiral classifier, and ore spiral classifier.

Spiral classifier (screw classifier) is widely used for distributing ore in the close circuit with ball mill, grading ore and fine slit in the gravity mill, grading granularity in the flow of metal ore-dressing and declaiming and dehydrating in the washing. Advantages are simple structure, reliable working condition and convenient operation. According to the principle that different grains are with different specific gravity and sedimentation rate in the liquid, the fine ore flows in the water and the coarse ore sinks in the bottom. The classifier that has machine grading by discharging from the top can filtrate the materials and send course materials to the feeding mouth and discharge the fine material from the pipe. The seat of the machine adopts channel steel and body adopts armor plate and the spiral axle adopts cast iron, so it's durable. The lifting equipment has two types, namely electricity and hand.

The Working Principle of Ore Spiral Classifier

This classifier can filter materials and send course materials to the feeding mouth and discharge fine materials from the pipe. The seat of the machine features channel steel material, while the body is armor plated and the spiral axle is made of cast iron for durability. The machine's lifting equipment can be used manually or electronically.

The working principle of the grader is that different solid granularities have different gravity and dropping speed. The fine ore granularities floating in the water will overflow and the big ones will sink to the bottom and discharge from the upper part by spiral pushing. It can filter the granularities from the machine and then spin the rough particles to charging part by spiral vane and discharge the fine granularities from the overflow pipe. The base of the machine adopts a channel steel and the body adopts welded steel plate. The water inlet of spiral axle and axle head adopt pig iron cover for wear proofing and long life operation. The lifting equipment has two types, manual control and electric control.
